Encourage a culture of energy efficiency benefiting all residents, focusing on the commercial and industrial sectors, which account for 45% of Bahrain's energy consumption.
EWA collaborates with Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) to conduct energy audits and implement energy-saving measures, reducing consumption and operational costs.
Aims to conserve 509 GWh of electricity annually and cut carbon emissions by 255,000 tonnes by 2040, lowering energy bills and benefiting the environment.
Enhanced energy efficiency in four government buildings, achieving a 41% reduction in energy consumption and a 19,250-tonne decrease in carbon emissions.
Supports Bahrain's goal of increasing renewable energy share to 20% by 2035 and achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2060.
Includes 6 projects, saving 104,185 GWh, BD 3,021,365, and reducing CO2 by 52,093 tonnes. Figures are updated regularly as projects and savings accumulate.
