Empowering Businesses with KAFA’A
KAFA’A stands as the national program dedicated to increasing energy efficiency and promoting sustainable practices within buildings.
While primarily targeting high usage customers, the program's goal of reducing energy consumption is helpful to everyone. Bahrain's commercial and industrial sectors make up approximately 45% of the nation's total energy consumption, so improvements in energy efficiency within these sectors can help reduce energy costs and ensure a more reliable energy supply for all customers.

Partnering for Progress
The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) collaborates with Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) to conduct energy audits, identify areas for improvement.
In addition to implementing energy-saving measures in public and private sector buildings. This collaboration results in decreased energy consumption and operational costs for businesses participating in the KAFA'A program.
