The Authority emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting sustainability and encouraging individuals and organizations to adopt environmentally responsible practices. It further called on everyone to continue embracing responsible behaviors towards energy resources in order to safeguard the planet for future generations.

The event witnessed broad participation from community members, government and private sector entities, as well as key landmarks across the Kingdom, with lights switched off in prominent locations in solidarity with global efforts to combat climate change and preserve biodiversity.
