EWA services now available on MyGov app
As part of its commitment to supporting Bahrain’s digital transformation and aligning with national efforts to integrate government services into a single smart platform, the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has announced the availability of its services through the unified MyGov application for individuals.
The announcement reflects EWA’s active implementation of government directives aimed at adopting digital initiatives and enhancing user access to public services through modern and convenient platforms.
Eng. Muna Al-Hashimi, Acting Deputy Chief Executive of Customer Services and Digital Transformation at EWA, confirmed that customers can now access a range of EWA services via the MyGov app. These include viewing and paying bills, settling security deposits, and paying service connection fees for electricity and water, in addition to accessing billing history and previous payment records.
Al-Hashimi emphasized EWA’s commitment to the continuous development of its services, highlighting the Authority’s ongoing collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority to expand and enhance its digital offerings. More EWA services will be added to the MyGov platform in future phases, further improving customer access and user experience.
She added that the launch of the MyGov application represents a strategic step toward advancing digital transformation and simplifying access to government services for citizens and residents through a unified digital platform in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It is worth noting that MyGov is one of Bahrain’s key digital initiatives, offering citizens and residents a seamless and secure single sign-on experience to access a wide array of government services. The app is integrated with the enhanced eKey 2.0 system and is designed to elevate service accessibility and efficiency across the Kingdom.
