EWA president, Electricity Minister inspect emergency center in Capital Governorate

Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, President of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), and Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, visited the emergency centre at the Capital Governorate.

This came as part of the inspection visits to the emergency and maintenance centres to ensure their readiness for various situations and the sustainability of electricity and water services.

The EWA President highlighted the importance of adopting best practices to meet the increasing demand for electricity driven by urban, industrial, and commercial growth.

He noted that the Authority operates through four emergency and maintenance centres across the four governorates. Each has a team to examine stations, perform regular maintenance, and inspect network loads in order to address any malfunction before it occurs.
