Completion of Ras Ruman 66 kV Substation Maintenance Project
The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) confirmed that it operates within periodic programs for the maintenance and development of electricity substations, as part of its strategic plan to enhance infrastructure and ensure the sustainability and reliability of services.
EWA announced the successful completion of the maintenance project for the Ras Ruman 66 kV substation, as part of its ongoing programs to develop, upgrade equipment, and maintain electrical substations across the Kingdom of Bahrain. This initiative stems from the Authority’s commitment to improving the capacity, efficiency, and quality of service, strengthening safe operations, maintaining the stability of the electrical network in the Kingdom, and meeting the growing demand for electricity while ensuring continuous supply with the highest levels of quality and reliability.
EWA clarified that it took all necessary measures to ensure emergency plans and organize repair and maintenance teams, guaranteeing that electricity supply to all customers in the area was not affected during the maintenance works.
