The Electricity & Water Network Control Centre in Al Hidd, a major EWA project valued at approximately 21 million Bahraini dinars, aims to enhance monitoring and control capabilities to support the continuous expansion of the electricity and water networks.

Al Jasra Substation
This strategic project involves the construction of one 400 kV substation at Jasra and three 400 kV feeders connections to Riffa and Um Al Hassam 400 kV substation, in addition to reconfiguration of nine 220 kV and 66 kV feeders.

Rehabilitation of Ras Abu Jarjur RO Desalination Plant
The Ras Abu Jarjur Reverse Osmosis (RO) Desalination Plant, the only plant in Bahrain relying on groundwater wells and not seawater, is undergoing a comprehensive rehabilitation to extend its service life by at least 20 years.

The New Hamala Reverse Osmosis Water Production Plant
EWA is planning the construction of a Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Production Plant at the existing Hamala Ground Forwarding Station. This facility is designed to produce 10 million Gallons of Potable Water daily from Brackish groundwater, enhancing Bahrain's water supply capabilities.
